At times individuals with Panic Disorder, OCD, or Hoarding Disorder may benefit from psychological services delivered within the home or community settings. For example, some individuals with Panic Disorder may also experience Agoraphobia, or a fear of being in public places, crowded areas, enclosed or open areas. Some individuals may feel anxiety when leaving their home, or an area within their home. Individuals with OCD may experience significant discomfort around certain routines within the home setting, may have difficulty transitioning from the home setting to another location, or may have obsessions when in particular community settings. Hoarding can result in significant clutter that can be a source of stress for the patient and others living in the home setting. In these circumstances, Dr. Chok will work with patients in the community and their home to address these symptoms in the most relevant contexts. Dr. Chok also provides consultation in school settings and can work with school administrators to tailor interventions provided within the school.
